Gardening Naturally Anti Duckweed is a specialized double-action treatment designed to clear unsightly duckweed from ponds and lakes. Unlike standard treatments, this formula works through both the roots and the leaves for maximum effectiveness. When added to the water, the solution is absorbed by the roots, where a microscopic substance expands to restrict the weed's ability to absorb water. Simultaneously, the treatment features UV blockers; when sprayed directly onto the leaves, it prevents the duckweed from absorbing the sunlight it needs to thrive. This dual-action approach ensures a more thorough removal of problematic floating weeds. To apply, use 10ml per 225 litres (50 gallons) of pond water by shaking the bottle and measuring the dose in the built-in chamber. For best results, you can also spray the product neat directly onto the floating weed, taking care to avoid contact with ornamental or oxygenating pond plants. If necessary, the treatment can be repeated after one week.
