The Vitax Py Bug Killer Spray is an ideal pest management solution for home gardeners and greenhouse enthusiasts looking for a plant-safe, pyrethrum-based insecticide to manage common infestations like aphids and caterpillars. This ready-to-use spray offers the convenience of immediate application without the need for dilution, providing effective control for both ornamental and edible plants. While it is highly efficient at targeting pests on contact, users should note that as a contact-based insecticide, it requires careful timing to avoid potential harm to beneficial pollinators in the garden.

It is suitable for most ornamental and edible plants, but you should always perform a patch test on delicate foliage first.
Pyrethrum is toxic to bees on contact. Apply early in the morning or late in the evening when pollinators are not active to minimize risk.
Please refer to the specific harvest interval listed on the product label for the exact waiting period required before consumption.
This product is primarily formulated for insects like aphids, caterpillars, and thrips; it is not intended for use as a slug control.
No, it is a contact insecticide and is biodegradable, meaning it does not provide long-term protection against future pest arrivals.
Yes, you can store the spray in its original bottle in a cool, dry place for future use until the expiration date.
The spray is contact-based. Ensure you are spraying the pests directly and covering the underside of the leaves. Re-apply as needed for heavy infestations.
Rinse the nozzle tip with warm water to remove any dried residue or debris that might be obstructing the spray path.
Always perform a patch test on a small, inconspicuous area of the plant before widespread application to ensure no sensitivity.
To begin using the spray, simply unlock the nozzle on the 750ml bottle. No assembly or additional water is required. It is compatible with a wide range of ornamental flowers and edible plants. When applying to vegetables, always check the product label for the specific harvest interval to ensure the produce is safe to eat after treatment. Store the bottle in a cool, dry, and secure location away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the natural pyrethrum extract. Keep the container out of the reach of children and pets.
