Setup, Compatibility & Care
Sowing Indoors:
- Fill small pots or seed trays with a good quality seed compost.
- Sow seeds thinly on the surface and cover lightly with compost.
- Water gently and maintain a consistent temperature (around 18-21°C or 65-70°F) in a bright location, such as a windowsill.
- Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into larger pots or their final growing positions.
Sowing Outdoors:
- Prepare the soil by loosening it and removing weeds. Choose a sunny, sheltered spot.
- Sow seeds directly into the soil at the recommended depth.
- Water regularly, especially during dry periods.
General Care:
- Watering: Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.
- Sunlight: Most herbs in this collection prefer a sunny location.
- Harvesting: Regularly pick leaves to encourage bushier growth and a continuous supply. For Basil and Coriander, pinch off flowers to prolong leaf production.
Compatibility: These seeds are suitable for general garden soil, potting mixes, and hydroponic systems if adapted correctly.
