The VidaXL Door Mat in Beige is an ideal solution for homeowners and renters looking to maintain cleaner indoor spaces by stopping dirt and mud at the threshold. Engineered for high-traffic areas, this coir mat excels at trapping debris from footwear before it tracks into your living space, though its natural material may shed slightly during the initial break-in period.

The coir material can withstand moisture, but it is not waterproof; it is designed to trap moisture rather than repel it, so it should be allowed to dry if it becomes soaked.
The anti-slip PVC backing is designed primarily for hard floor surfaces like tile, wood, or concrete and may not perform as intended on carpet.
Allow the mud to dry completely, then use a stiff brush to loosen and remove the dried debris from the coir fibers.
While the mat is designed for dirty shoes, heavily colored contaminants like grease or oil may leave a mark on the natural fibers.
We do not recommend cutting the mat as it may cause the structural integrity of the border and backing to fray or compromise the anti-slip performance.
Ensure the floor surface underneath is clean and completely dry before placing the mat down, as dust or moisture can reduce the efficacy of the anti-slip backing.
It is normal for natural coir to shed slightly when new; simply vacuum the surrounding area or shake the mat out until the loose fibers are removed.
Setting up the mat requires no tools; simply place it on a clean, dry floor surface with the PVC side facing down. For care and maintenance, the most effective method is to shake the mat outside periodically to release trapped dirt and dust. If mud dries into the fibers, a stiff-bristled brush can be used to scrub the area clean. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these can damage the natural fibers. If the mat becomes soaked, hang it in a well-ventilated, covered area to air dry completely to prevent the backing from deteriorating.
