The Vertiv Edge Lithium Ion uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is designed to safeguard critical equipment in server rooms, network closets, and other edge and distributed IT applications. This 1.5 kVA UPS offers a lower total cost of ownership, with potential savings of up to 50% over its lifetime. Its lithium-ion batteries provide greater power density, last 2-3 times longer, recharge quicker, and endure up to 10 times more discharge cycles than traditional VRLA batteries. The UPS includes automatic voltage regulation (AVR) technology to extend battery life and offers sufficient runtime for an orderly shutdown during outages. This single-phase UPS system is ideal for remote or unmanned locations, especially when paired with an optional webcard for remote management. It features a flexible 2U rack/tower form factor with a rotating LCD display for easy configuration. Key features include a 0.9 output power factor for more usable power, high efficiency up to 97.5% in line mode, up to six battery-backed outlets, programmable outlets, hot-swappable user-replaceable internal batteries, an input breaker for load protection, and a remote emergency shutdown capability via an EPO port. USB communications are included for UPS status monitoring and management. The system comes with a five-year standard warranty for both the UPS and batteries.
