Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Connect one end of the HDMI cable to your source device (e.g., camera, gaming console, Blu-ray player) and the other end to your display device (e.g., 4K TV, monitor, projector). Ensure the secure locking connectors are fully engaged by pushing them until they click into place. For standard HDMI ports, the locking mechanism can often be bypassed by not fully engaging the lock, but verify compatibility before forceful insertion.
Compatibility: This cable supports HDMI 2.0 standards and is backward compatible with older HDMI versions. It is compatible with devices featuring standard HDMI Type-A ports, including 4K Ultra HD TVs, projectors, gaming consoles, computers, and professional video equipment. Due to the secure locking mechanism, it is best suited for devices designed to accommodate such connectors or where a standard connection can be achieved without fully engaging the lock.
Care: Store the cable in the provided pouch when not in use to prevent damage. Avoid sharp bends or kinks, especially near the connectors. Clean the connectors gently with a dry, lint-free cloth if necessary. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.
