Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Prepare the Subfloor: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and level. Remove any old flooring, debris, or adhesive residue.
- Acclimation: Allow the planks to acclimate to the room temperature for at least 24 hours before installation.
- Layout: Plan your layout before you start. Consider the direction of the planks and any patterns.
- Installation: Peel off the backing and carefully apply the plank to the subfloor. Use a roller to ensure a secure bond.
Compatibility
These planks are compatible with:
- Concrete
- Laminate
- Large Tiles
- MDF/Plywood
They are *not* recommended for use on carpet or very uneven surfaces.
Care
- Cleaning: Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove dirt and debris. Mop with a damp cloth or a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they can damage the surface.
- Protect from Heavy Objects: Use furniture pads to prevent scratches and dents. Avoid dragging heavy objects across the floor.
