The Boutique Flow Texture Wallpaper in Grey is designed for homeowners and interior decorators seeking to add sophisticated movement and depth to living rooms, bedrooms, or hallways. Featuring a refined vertical linear design accented with subtle metallic flecks, this wallpaper provides an elegant backdrop that creates a sense of height and vertical flow in any space. FAQs
Can this wallpaper be used in a bathroom?
While the material is high quality, it is not specifically rated for high-moisture environments. Avoid areas with direct water splashes or constant humidity.
How do I calculate how many rolls I need?
Measure the total width and height of your walls, account for the pattern repeat, and add 10-15% for trimming and waste.
Does the pattern require matching?
Yes, because the wallpaper features a structured vertical linear design, you must align the pattern carefully when hanging successive strips.
Is the wallpaper washable?
The surface is durable, but it should only be wiped down with a lightly dampened cloth. Avoid scrubbing or saturating the paper.
What kind of paste should I use?
A standard professional-grade wallpaper adhesive suitable for textured wallcoverings is recommended.
Troubleshooting
Visible seams between wallpaper strips
Ensure the adhesive is applied evenly to the edges and use a seam roller carefully to flatten joints without damaging the texture.
Air bubbles forming under the paper
Gently smooth the wallpaper from the center outward toward the edges using a wallpaper smoothing tool immediately after hanging.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Sophisticated vertical pattern creates an illusion of higher ceilings
- Metallic details add a high-end, reflective quality to walls
- Neutral grey tone integrates easily with existing interior color schemes
- Textured finish helps hide minor wall imperfections
Cons
- Metallic flecks may create glare if positioned directly under intense spotlights
- Requires precise vertical alignment during installation to maintain pattern flow
- Grey color may darken smaller, windowless rooms if lighting is inadequate
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before installation, ensure walls are clean, dry, and primed with an appropriate wallpaper primer to allow for proper adhesion. When hanging the Boutique Flow Texture Wallpaper, pay close attention to the pattern repeat to ensure the vertical lines align perfectly between strips, as even a slight misalignment will be noticeable due to the linear nature of the design. Use a high-quality wallpaper paste suitable for heavy-weight or textured papers.
For daily care, the paper can be gently dusted with a soft-bristled brush or wiped with a lightly dampened cloth if necessary. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the metallic flecks or the surface texture.
