Ensure the USB cable is fully inserted and the power source is active. If using batteries, verify they are new and oriented with the correct polarity.
Check that the USB cable is not damaged and try plugging it into a different power port or a dedicated wall adapter rather than a USB hub.
To set up the light box, insert either three batteries (check battery compartment requirements) or connect the provided USB cable to a standard 5V power adapter or USB port on your computer. To mount, use the integrated hanging slots on the back with appropriate wall hardware. To maintain the appearance of the acrylic front, wipe gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive materials that could scratch the surface or damage the lettering.
