Thor Hammer's Thorex Assembly Work Hammer features two, one-piece moulded, nylon striking faces designed for longevity and customisation. The hammer is fitted with a chrome-plated zinc head (except 720N model) and a robust wooden handle. Replacement striking faces, color-coded for hardness, can be purchased separately to adapt the tool to your specific needs. Each hammer is designed for multi-purpose use and constructed to a high standard, making it suitable for applications in engineering, construction, assembly, and camping. The faces are designed to wear and be easily replaced by hand when worn down. They are one-piece moulded for durability and possess no metal pegs or inserts that could damage the workpiece. Serrations in the metal head prevent faces from coming loose during use, and a shoulder on the faces offers extra strength and prevents fracture from misdirected blows. Replacement faces and handles are also available separately to maintain optimal tool performance.
