With our kit, children can construct their own intelligent, app-enabled, six-legged robot that uses machine learning to react to gestures and sounds they make. KAI, our AI robot, has five functions: walk forward and backward, turn left and right, and stop. Use the app and your smart device’s camera and microphone to record physical gestures and sounds and assign them to KAI. The more data you collect and assign, the better KAI will learn from it. You can also monitor the learning curve of the robot on the training screen of the app and make adjustments to get better results. You can control KAI remotely with the same assigned gestures and sounds in play mode. KAI can also be controlled directly via the app's remote-control function or by tilting your smart device as a gyroscope for directional movement. This STEM kit is designed for kids aged 10 and above and comes with 123 building pieces and a full-colour, 64-page manual that also includes a fun, comic-book-style story about KAI.
