The TUFFMATE 5 Tread Step Ladder is a professional-grade tool designed for electricians, engineers, and maintenance workers who require a safe, non-conductive climbing solution for industrial environments. Its primary benefit is the combination of high-strength fibreglass construction for live-wire safety and a robust 150kg load capacity, though users should be aware that the added safety materials make it heavier than standard aluminum household ladders.

Yes, the TUFFMATE 5 Tread is constructed with non-conductive fibreglass, making it ideal for electrical tasks.
The ladder is rated for a maximum load of 150kg, including the user and any tools.
Yes, but ensure it is stored inside or away from harsh weather to maintain the integrity of the fibreglass.
It is a European standard ensuring the ladder meets specific safety, stability, and strength testing requirements for professional use.
Regularly wipe down with a damp cloth and store out of direct sunlight to prevent weathering.
Ensure all four rubber feet are in full contact with the floor. If a foot is worn, replace the slip-resistant end cap immediately.
Check the hinge mechanism for debris or dust. Clean the area and apply a light silicone lubricant if necessary.
Tighten the mounting screws located on the underside of the top platform using a standard screwdriver.
To ensure peak performance and safety, always open the ladder on a flat, level surface and ensure the spreader bars are fully locked before climbing. Never use the ladder on slippery or unstable surfaces without proper safety measures.
