No, lids are sold separately. You must purchase them individually.
It is the European standard for compostable packaging, guaranteeing that the item will biodegrade in a controlled industrial composting environment.
Yes, they are suitable for both hot and cold food items.
While they are made from natural fibers, they require the specific conditions of a commercial composting facility to break down effectively.
They are designed for takeaway food. For very liquid-heavy meals, it is recommended to test the seal, as bagasse is a natural fiber and can soften if left with liquids for extended periods.
Ensure the container is not overfilled and that the lid is snapped on securely to allow the breathable material to vent excess steam properly.
Verify you are using the specific compatible lids: HW037 (bagasse) or HW038 (PET). Ensure no debris is caught in the rim of the base.
To ensure proper function, always pair these bases with compatible lids. For the best fit and environmental consistency, use the `HW037` Fiesta bagasse lids; alternatively, the `HW038` Fiesta PET lids can be used if transparent visibility is required. Keep these containers in a cool, dry environment away from direct moisture to ensure they remain rigid prior to use. When disposing, direct these items toward your commercial compost waste stream rather than standard landfill bins to fulfill the product's environmental potential.
