No, the D-loops are provided to allow you to attach an optional shoulder strap, which is sold separately.

Can I use these on 6ft rods?

Yes, the product is fully compatible with 6ft, 9ft, and 10ft Nash retractable models.

How do I prevent the rod guides from being damaged?

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To use the Tip Tops, align your rod sections and slide the connectors over the tip and butt ends. Use the integrated elastic tensioner to tighten the fit until the rods are held firmly together. When attaching a shoulder strap, ensure both D-loops are properly engaged with the strap clips to maintain balance. For care, keep the elastic components away from sharp objects and clean the exterior with a damp cloth if exposed to mud or silt. Ensure the connectors are completely dry before storing them for long periods to maintain the elasticity of the material.
