Power your Makita 40V Max XGT® cordless tools with this 8.0Ah battery kit. These batteries can be fully charged in as little as 76 minutes with the rapid charger - the kit contains two 8.0Ah battery packs along with a 240V charger and Makpac storage case. The Makita XGT 40V Max Power Pack Type 3 is a complete battery and charger starter kit for Makita's 40v XGT cordless power tool range. It contains a 40v battery charger and two 8.0ah XGT batteries along with a Makpak type 3 stackable case for transport and storage. Makita's 40v XGT range was introduced in 2020 as a powerful, heavy duty cordless platform with an all-new battery system. XGT batteries are encased in heavy duty housings with impact absorbing padding, and can be fully recharged in rapid time (as little as 28 minutes). Two way digital communication between tool and battery ensures optimum performance and reliability at all times, while allowing for future updates to be implemented into the range if necessary. This new platform is not intended as a replacement for the industry standard 18v LXT range, and has been designed to work alongside it: the ADP10 charging adaptor means you can recharge all your LXT and XGT batteries from the same charger to eliminate clutter on site. Makpak cases can be stacked and connected to other cases in the same range, as well as many other Systainer type carry cases from other manufacturers.
