Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Simply plug the RJ45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your network devices, such as computers, routers, switches, or gaming consoles. Ensure a secure click as the connectors lock into place.
Compatibility: This Cat6A cable is backward compatible with Cat6, Cat5e, and Cat5 standards. However, to achieve 10 Gigabit Ethernet speeds, both connecting devices and the entire network infrastructure (switches, routers, patch panels) must also support Cat6A or higher standards.
Care:
- Avoid kinking or tightly bending the cable, as this can damage the internal conductors and shielding. Maintain a bend radius of at least 4 times the cable diameter.
- Keep connectors clean. If necessary, use a dry, lint-free cloth or electronic contact cleaner designed for network cables.
- Store the cable away from extreme heat, direct sunlight, and moisture when not in use.
- The snagless boot protects the connector clip; do not force the connector when plugging or unplugging.
