Setup, Compatibility & Care
To begin using the tool, ensure your workspace is flat and stable. Position the adjustable guide based on the margin you require for your specific project. Always test the punch on a scrap piece of the same material first to confirm your placement before working on the final project piece.
Care Instructions:
- Periodically wipe down the punch head with a dry cloth to remove paper dust or residue.
- Ensure the alignment bar is tightened securely before starting a series of punches.
- Keep the tool in a dry environment to prevent corrosion, especially if you have been punching thin tin or other metals.
- Do not attempt to force material into the punch throat if it exceeds the maximum thickness capacity, as this may damage the internal mechanisms.
