Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of any loose materials before installation.
- Cutting: Use a fine-tooth saw to cut the cornice to the required lengths. Mitre cuts are necessary for corners.
- Adhesive: Use a suitable adhesive for polyurethane mouldings, following the manufacturer's instructions.
- Installation: Apply the adhesive to the back of the cornice and press it firmly against the wall. Use temporary supports or clamps if needed.
- Finishing: Once the adhesive is dry, fill any gaps with a suitable sealant and paint the cornice to match your exterior color scheme. Use exterior grade paint.
Compatibility: The C800 cornice is compatible with various building materials and can be used on most exterior surfaces. Always check the compatibility of adhesives and paints with the cornice material.
Care: Clean the cornice regularly with mild soap and water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or high-pressure washers.
