Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
This is a traditional analog watch. The primary setup involves setting the correct time and date. To set the time, pull the crown out to its furthest position and rotate it until the desired time is displayed. To set the date, pull the crown to the middle position and rotate it (typically counter-clockwise, but refer to specific manual if needed) until the correct date appears at 3 o'clock. Ensure the crown is pushed fully back in to maintain water resistance.
Compatibility:
As a standalone timepiece, compatibility is not a major concern. It pairs well with a variety of outfits, from formal wear to smart casual. The standard stainless steel bracelet may require adjustment for a perfect fit; this is best done by a professional jeweler.
Care:
To maintain the Toccata's pristine condition:
- Clean the case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
- For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately.
- Avoid exposing the watch to harsh chemicals, perfumes, or extreme temperatures.
- Ensure the crown is always pushed in to preserve water resistance.
- Have the battery replaced by a qualified watchmaker to avoid damaging the movement or compromising water resistance.
