Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires standard carpentry tools such as a handsaw or circular saw, a measuring tape, and galvanized nails or outdoor-rated screws to prevent corrosion. Begin at the bottom of the wall, ensuring the first board is perfectly level, as this dictates the alignment of all subsequent rows.
For care, although the boards are pressure-treated, the wood is not immune to surface weathering. It is highly recommended to apply a high-quality outdoor wood preservative or exterior-grade paint shortly after installation. Periodically check for any loose boards or deep surface cracks that may have developed due to intense sun exposure, and treat them accordingly to ensure the integrity of the moisture barrier.
