Product Information

Full details

The Chamonix Spruce Flocked Christmas Tree (5ft) is ideal for apartment dwellers or those seeking a festive, wintry focal point in smaller living spaces. Its primary benefit lies in its high-density, snow-dusted foliage that provides an instant, realistic frosted woodland aesthetic without the mess of real needles. However, users should be prepared for minor initial shedding of the flocking material during the setup and shaping process.

FAQs

Does this tree include lights?

No, this model does not come with pre-installed lights, allowing you to choose your own lighting style.

Can I use this tree outdoors?

No, the Chamonix Spruce is designed strictly for indoor use.

How do I protect my floor?

The tree comes with a metal stand that includes rubber feet, which are designed to prevent scratches on wood or laminate floors.

What should I do if the flocking gets damaged?

While flocking is permanent, handle the branches carefully to avoid rubbing the material off. You can use a soft brush to gently clean off any dust.

Is it difficult to store?

The tree breaks down into three sections, which collapse compactly for easy storage in a standard Christmas tree bag or its original box.

Troubleshooting

Tree feels unstable

Ensure the green metal stand is fully opened and all three eyebolts are tightened equally against the base pole.

Visible gaps in the branches

The tree requires thorough shaping. Spend additional time fanning out individual branch tips and adjusting them to fill empty spaces.

Excessive flocking shedding

Some shedding is normal for flocked trees. Gently shake the tree outside before bringing it into your living space to remove loose particles.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Realistic frosted appearance
Easy assembly with hinged branches
Floor-friendly stand with rubber feet
Compact 5ft size fits well in small spaces

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To assemble the tree, insert the bottom section into the metal stand and tighten the eyebolts until secure. Stack the subsequent middle and top sections. Once upright, spend time 'fluffing' the branches by fanning out the tips. For care, keep the tree away from direct heat sources like radiators or fireplaces to maintain the integrity of the flocking. When the season ends, disassemble in reverse order and store in a cool, dry place inside a tree storage bag to prevent dust accumulation and further shedding of the artificial snow.
