Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
For optimal results, it is highly recommended to use ICC profiles specific to your printer model and this paper. These profiles can often be downloaded from the Hahnemühle website or generated using a calibration device.
Compatibility:
This paper is compatible with most high-quality inkjet printers (dye and pigment-based) from leading manufacturers. Always ensure your printer supports the paper's thickness (500 µm) and weight (310 g/m²).
Care:
- Handling: Handle the paper by the edges only to avoid transferring oils and fingerprints. Use cotton gloves for maximum protection.
- Printing Environment: Print in a controlled environment with temperatures between 10-30 °C (50-86 °F) and relative humidity of 30-60%.
- Drying: Allow prints to dry for at least 24 hours after printing before handling, stacking, or framing. For best archival results, frame under UV-protective glass in a controlled environment.
- Storage: Store prints in acid-free sleeves or albums away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
