The Tracer Construction Marker Set in Black is designed for professionals working on demanding job sites. Its key benefit is the clog-free tip that consistently delivers clear marks on a variety of tough surfaces without fear of damage. A potential consideration is its specialized design, which might be overkill for light-duty indoor tasks. This versatile marker set handles dusty conditions and marks effectively on tiles, concrete, brick, wood, shiny surfaces, and glass, making it an ideal tool for construction and busy workspaces, always accessible with its included site holder and clip.

The marker is designed for dusty conditions, but performance on actively wet surfaces may be reduced. It's best to ensure surfaces are as dry as possible for optimal marking.
The ink is designed for durability on construction materials. Permanence can vary depending on the surface type; it is generally resistant to smudging once dry on porous surfaces but may be more susceptible to removal on extremely smooth, non-porous materials.
Gently wipe the tip with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid using water or solvents, as these can interfere with the ink flow and composition.
It means the marker's tip is specifically designed to resist clogging from dust and small particles commonly found on job sites, ensuring consistent ink delivery.
Replacement tips are not typically available. The marker is designed as a unit for professional use, and when the ink is depleted or the tip is significantly worn, a new marker is intended.
The TRACER Site Holder is designed to keep the marker securely attached to your tool belt, pocket, or work area, ensuring it is always readily accessible and protected.
Ensure the cap has been removed. Press the tip gently on a scrap surface to encourage ink flow. Check if the tip is obstructed by dust or debris and carefully clean with a dry cloth. Ensure the marker is not dried out; if so, a new marker may be required.
This can occur on very slick or non-porous surfaces. Allow extra drying time. For some materials like glass or polished metal, consider using a test mark first to check adhesion and permanence. Ensure the surface is clean and free from oils or grease.
While built for durability, extreme impacts can damage the marker. Utilize the provided shirt/trouser clip and site holder to keep the marker secure and prevent accidental drops.
Setup: The Tracer Construction Marker Set requires no complex setup. Simply remove the cap before use. For the first mark, you may need to press the tip gently on the surface to activate the ink flow.
Compatibility: This marker is designed for compatibility with a broad spectrum of surfaces, including:
