- Complete Profile: Set up your personal profile (age, gender, height, weight) in the app for accurate activity and health data tracking.
Compatibility
- Smartphone: The Garmin Vivomove Sport is compatible with both Apple iOS and Android smartphones. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled.
- Garmin Connect App: Full functionality, including detailed data viewing, insights, and settings customization, requires the Garmin Connect app.
Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean your watch and strap with a soft, lint-free cloth and a small amount of water. For silicon straps, mild soap can be used occasionally. Ensure the watch is completely dry before wearing it again or charging.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or strong chemicals (like insect repellent) as they can damage the watch's components and finishes.
- Charging Ports: Keep the charging contacts on the back of the watch clean and dry to prevent corrosion and ensure proper charging.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the watch in a cool, dry place. Avoid extreme temperatures.
- Water Resistance: The Vivomove Sport has a water rating. While it can withstand splashes, rain, and showering, it's not designed for scuba diving or high-speed water sports. Avoid pressing buttons while submerged.
