Setup, Compatibility & Care

To begin, ensure you have a 1 x CR2 3V battery as this is not provided with the unit. Installation is straightforward: open the rear battery compartment, insert the cell with the correct polarity, and secure the cover. Screw the alarm onto your bankstick or buzz bar until hand-tight, then attach your bobbin to the side thread if required.

For care, while the unit is built for outdoor use, it is best practice to wipe it down with a damp, soft cloth after use to remove grit or debris. Avoid submerging the alarm in water. When not in use for extended periods, remove the battery to prevent potential leakage or corrosion.
