FAQs

How do I make the eyeshadow last longer?

Apply an eyeshadow primer before applying the eyeshadow. This will help the eyeshadow adhere to the eyelids and prevent creasing.

Can I use this eyeshadow wet?

Yes, you can apply the eyeshadow wet for a more intense and metallic finish. Dampen your brush before picking up the product.

How do I choose the right brush?

A flat, stiff brush is best for applying color, while a fluffy brush is ideal for blending.

How do I clean my eyeshadow brushes?

Clean your brushes weekly with a brush cleaner or mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow them to dry flat.

Can I use this eyeshadow on sensitive eyes?

MAC products are generally formulated for all skin types. However, if you have very sensitive eyes, it's always best to do a patch test first.

What is the best way to remove this eyeshadow?

Use an eye makeup remover or micellar water. Apply to a cotton pad and gently wipe away the eyeshadow.

Troubleshooting

Eye shadow not showing up as expected

Ensure that you are using a primer on your eyelids before applying the eyeshadow. Also, try applying the eyeshadow with a slightly dampened brush or use a different application method, such as fingertips.

Eyeshadow creasing

Apply a thin layer of eyeshadow primer before the eyeshadow. Avoid applying too much product at once, and set the eyeshadow with a translucent powder.

Difficulty blending the eyeshadow

Use a fluffy blending brush and blend the edges of the eyeshadow in circular motions. Work in small sections, and don't rush the process.

Product is too shimmery for my preference

Apply a matte eyeshadow in a similar shade to the base and layer Havana on top, or use a lighter touch with a blending brush.
