Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup:
- Expose to Light: Place the watch in direct natural light or bright artificial light for several hours to ensure a full initial charge.
- Radio Signal Reception: Allow the watch to attempt to receive a radio time signal. This may happen automatically overnight or when placed near a window.
- Manual Sync (if needed): Consult the user manual for instructions on performing a manual radio signal reception if automatic syncing does not occur.
Compatibility:
The watch is designed to receive radio time signals from specific transmitters. Its compatibility depends on your geographical location and proximity to these transmitters. The watch is generally compatible with standard radio time signal networks in Europe, North America, Japan, and China, depending on the specific model variant.
Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: Wipe the case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Strap Care: Follow specific care instructions for the strap material (leather, metal, etc.). Leather straps may benefit from occasional conditioning.
- Charging: Ensure the watch is regularly exposed to light. Avoid prolonged periods in complete darkness, such as inside a drawer or a watch box, as this can deplete the power reserve.
