Setup, Compatibility & Care
For optimal results, plant your Carbeth Plants tulip bulbs in the autumn before the ground freezes. Select a location that receives full sun to partial shade. Dig a hole roughly 6 inches deep and place the bulb with the pointed end facing up. Space bulbs about 4 to 6 inches apart to allow for proper airflow and root development. Ensure the planting site is well-drained, as bulbs will decay in standing water. Once planted, provide a light watering to settle the soil. During the active growing season, monitor moisture levels in containers, but avoid over-saturating the soil. After the flowers fade, you may deadhead the stems to improve the plant's appearance, but keep the green leaves until they have completely withered.
