FAQs

Can I use the RM 25C while it is charging?

Yes, the unit is designed to operate while connected to a power source, which is recommended for extended shooting sessions.

Does it come with a tripod mount?

The unit features magnetic mounting for metal surfaces; for standard tripod mounting, you may need a third-party accessory that holds the device.

How do I reach the 10,000K setting?

Use the jog wheel on the back of the device to navigate the menu to the color temperature (CCT) mode, then rotate the wheel to increase the Kelvin value up to 10,000K.

Is the light waterproof?

No, the RM 25C is not waterproof. Avoid exposure to rain, high humidity, or liquids.

What is the benefit of the high TLCI of 99?

A TLCI of 99 means the light performs exceptionally well with video cameras, resulting in minimal color correction needed during the post-production process.

Troubleshooting

The unit does not turn on.

Verify the battery charge level by plugging in the USB-C cable. If the screen does not show a charging icon, try a different charging cable or wall adapter.

Light settings change unexpectedly.

Ensure the control jog wheel is in the 'locked' state if the device supports it, or check that you are not accidentally rotating the wheel while handling the unit.

The light turns off during use.

The battery may be depleted. If at max brightness, consider lowering the intensity or connecting to a USB-C power delivery (PD) source.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To begin using the light, ensure it is fully charged via the USB-C port. The integrated magnetic back allows for immediate attachment to ferrous surfaces, but always verify the stability of the surface before leaving the unit unattended.

For care, store the device in a cool, dry place. While the magnetic diffuser is durable, avoid bending or crushing the snap-on frame. Always power off the device before connecting it to a power bank to protect the internal battery. If the lens becomes dusty, use a dry, soft microfiber cloth to gently wipe the surface; avoid using liquid solvents or abrasive cleaners that could damage the light-emitting surface.
