Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before your first use, rinse the dish with warm water and dry it thoroughly. While the heat-treating process inhibits rust, it is still best practice to apply a very light coat of vegetable oil after each wash. Always use silicone or wooden utensils to protect the surface seasoning. For cleaning, wash by hand using a stiff brush or non-abrasive sponge; avoid the dishwasher, as it will strip the seasoning and invite rust. If the dish is placed directly on a stovetop, ensure it is used on a burner that matches the base diameter to prevent uneven heating or damage to the cooktop surface.
