Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the GTS100-254 involves mounting the saw on a stable, level surface. Ensure the included profile rail is properly aligned before making initial cuts. The saw is compatible with various featherboards to improve workpiece control during long rips. To maintain the tool, ensure that both dust ports are connected to a high-capacity extraction system to prevent internal debris buildup that could impact the motor or height-adjustment mechanisms. Regularly clean the table surface with a non-resin cleaner to ensure smooth workpiece movement. Inspect the blade for sharpness and replace it using the provided ring spanner and hex key when dulling occurs.
