The MANN-FILTER C25146 is an essential component for vehicle owners seeking to maintain engine health and fuel efficiency through superior air filtration. Designed as an exact OE specification replacement, this filter excels at capturing fine contaminants like dust, sand, and soot before they reach the engine. While it provides robust protection and mechanical stability, users should be aware that proper installation is critical to ensure a perfect seal against the housing, as even minor gaps can allow unfiltered air to bypass the media.

Follow your vehicle manufacturer's maintenance schedule, typically every 10,000 to 15,000 miles, or more frequently in heavy traffic or dusty environments.
No, the C25146 is a dry-type filter and should not be cleaned with water or compressed air; it must be replaced when dirty.
No, this is a dry filter and should be installed clean and dry as it comes out of the packaging.
The filter edges should sit flush within the housing tray, and the airbox lid should close easily without requiring excessive force.
Delayed replacement can lead to restricted airflow, which reduces engine power, decreases fuel economy, and potentially causes soot buildup in the engine.
Verify that the air filter housing is fully closed and the filter is seated properly without any pinched edges.
Check the airbox for cracks or loose seals and ensure the new filter is properly clipped into place.
To install the filter, locate the vehicle's air filter housing—typically a black plastic box located near the engine intake—and unclip the fasteners. Remove the old unit, clean the interior of the housing with a damp cloth to remove residual dust, and insert the MANN-FILTER C25146, ensuring the gasket edge is properly seated within the groove. Verify that the housing is snapped shut securely to eliminate potential air leaks. It is recommended to check the filter condition every 10,000 to 15,000 miles or sooner if driving in particularly dusty climates. Always consult your vehicle's owner manual for the specific replacement interval dictated by the manufacturer.
