Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure walls are clean, dry, and free from loose paint or debris. Prime the wall if necessary.
- Cut wallpaper strips to the required length, allowing for an overlap at the ceiling and skirting board.
- Apply wallpaper adhesive evenly to the wall or the back of the wallpaper strip, following the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
- Hang the first strip, ensuring it is perfectly vertical using a spirit level. For a free pattern match, simply butt the next strip up against the previous one.
- Smooth out any air bubbles with a wallpaper brush or roller, working from the center outwards.
- Trim excess wallpaper at the ceiling and skirting board.
Compatibility:
This wallpaper is compatible with most standard wallpaper adhesives. It is suitable for application on most interior wall surfaces, including plaster, drywall, and previously papered walls (provided the old wallpaper is sound and well-adhered).
Care:
- Clean with a damp cloth or sponge. Mild soap can be used for stubborn marks.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture, which could damage the texture or lift the paper.
- Regular dusting with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner attachment will help maintain its appearance.
