Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure peak performance, follow these maintenance steps:
- Initial Setup: Verify that the handlebars are aligned and tightened to the manufacturer's torque specifications. Ensure the brakes are centered so both pads touch the rim simultaneously.
- Routine Care: Regularly inspect the tires for proper inflation and check that the chain remains lubricated. Clean the frame with a soft cloth and mild soap; avoid high-pressure water near the wheel bearings.
- Compatibility: The bike is designed for a 14-inch wheel standard. If replacing components, ensure parts are specifically sized for junior bikes to maintain the intended geometry and safety profile.
- Storage: Store the bike in a dry environment to prevent corrosion of the alloy components.
