The 'Extreme' rating is a survival threshold and not recommended for regular use.

This is a 3-season sleeping bag, best suited for spring, summer, and autumn. While the extreme rating is low, the comfort and limit ratings indicate it is not designed for prolonged use in freezing winter conditions. For winter camping, a bag with higher comfort and limit ratings would be more appropriate.
