FAQs

Do I need a box spring with this bed?

No, this is a platform bed designed to provide sufficient support for your mattress without the need for a box spring.

Is the fabric easy to clean?

The boucle fabric should be spot-cleaned with a gentle, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or heavy scrubbing.

Does the bed come with a mattress?

No, the bed frame is sold separately. You will need to provide your own mattress.

How long does assembly typically take?

Assembly time varies based on experience, but we recommend allotting 1-2 hours for two people to complete the setup.

Can the bed be delivered to an upstairs apartment?

No, delivery is provided specifically to your ground floor door.

Troubleshooting

The bed frame feels unstable or wobbles after assembly.

Check all bolts and connections to ensure they are fully tightened. Ensure the floor surface underneath the bed is level.

Visible gaps between frame components.

Loosen the bolts slightly, realign the side rails with the headboard and footboard, then tighten everything incrementally in a cross-pattern.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Sophisticated and tactile boucle fabric texture
  • Minimalist aesthetic suits many decor styles
  • Sturdy platform base eliminates the need for a box spring
  • Elegant, low-profile design maximizes visual space

Cons

  • Requires complete self-assembly by the user
  • Delivery is restricted to ground floor access only
  • Made-to-order status may impact standard delivery timelines

Setup, Compatibility & Care

This bed frame arrives flat-packed and requires self-assembly. Ensure you have adequate space in your room to lay out all components before beginning the assembly process. You will likely need a partner to help maneuver the larger frame pieces and secure the headboard attachment. Regarding compatibility, the platform design is suitable for most standard mattresses, including memory foam, latex, and pocket-sprung types. For care, address spills immediately by blotting with a clean, dry cloth; do not rub the fabric. We recommend performing a routine check of all bolts and fasteners every six months to ensure the structural integrity remains sound after initial wear.
