The Kingston IronKey Keypad 200 is an OS-independent hardware-encrypted USB drive with an alphanumeric keypad for easy-to-use PIN access. KP200 incorporates XTS-AES 256-bit hardware-based encryption. It is also FIPS 140-3 Level 3 (pending) certified for military-grade security with enhancements that further elevate the data protection bar. Its circuitry is protected by a layer of special epoxy, making component removal virtually impossible without damage, thus preventing attacks against the semiconductor components. The drive is designed to be tamper-evident and includes brute force password attack protection, along with BadUSB protection via digitally signed firmware. The alphanumeric keypad is coated with a polymer layer that protects the keys and hides fingerprint usage analysis. KP200 features a built-in rechargeable battery for unlocking the drive without software before plugging into any USB Type-A or USB Type-C mass storage device, offering flexibility across platforms and operating systems. The Multi-PIN option allows for Admin/User PIN setup, with Admin capability to restore a User PIN. Brute force protection erases the drive after 10 incorrect Admin PIN attempts. It also offers two levels of Read-Only modes (Global and session-based) to protect against malware on untrusted systems.
