This divan base features a platform-top, making it suitable for most types of mattresses, including memory foam, hybrid, and pocket-sprung mattresses. Ensure your mattress is compatible with a solid or platform-top base for optimal support.
The Alabama base comes with a 26-inch strutted headboard. It attaches securely to the divan base using pre-fitted metal connection clips and bolts, ensuring a stable fit.
Storage options vary by bed size. You can choose a base with no drawers, two drawers, or four fully lined drawers. These drawers glide smoothly on metal runners.
Yes, the Alabama base can be customized with Sloomy’s fabric collections, including Plush Velvet, Naples, Coniston, and Dumfries, which offer a variety of textures and colors.
Basic assembly is required for the divan base, including attaching the gliders and securing the headboard. Detailed instructions are provided with the product.
Information regarding the specific warranty period is not detailed in the product description. Please refer to the retailer or manufacturer's warranty documentation for specifics.
For plush fabric, it is recommended to use a soft brush or vacuum attachment to remove dust. For stains, use a slightly damp cloth with a mild detergent, and blot the area gently. Always test cleaning methods on an inconspicuous area first.
Ensure all connection clips and headboard bolts are tightened securely. Check that the divan base is on a level surface and that the chrome gliders are properly attached.
Verify that the drawer runners are clean and free from obstruction. Ensure the bed base itself is level, as an uneven surface can cause drawers to misalign.
Double-check the tightness of the headboard bolts and the securing mechanism. If using strutted headboard, ensure the struts are correctly positioned and fixed to the wall if recommended by the manufacturer.
Gently clean the affected area with a slightly damp cloth and mild detergent. Blot the area rather than rubbing. Test any cleaning solution on an inconspicuous spot first.
