Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up the splitter, connect your video source to the designated input port using a high-quality VGA cable. Then, connect your monitors to the four numbered output ports. Ensure the device is connected to a power source, as the signal boosting and duplication functions require active power.
Compatibility is broad for any VGA, SVGA, or Multi-sync display, but users should ensure their source computer output is capable of the 1920 x 1200 resolution for optimal results. For care, keep the metal housing in a well-ventilated area to ensure heat dissipation, and avoid bending the VGA cables at sharp angles to prevent signal degradation. Periodically check that all VGA screws are tightened to ensure a secure physical connection.
