FAQs

Is this scarf suitable for sensitive skin?

While the scarf is crafted from quality wool, individuals with extreme wool sensitivity may find it slightly textured due to the nature of the weave.

Can this scarf be machine washed?

Machine washing is generally discouraged as it can damage the looped threads and cause the wool to felt or shrink. Dry cleaning is the safest method.

What are the exact dimensions of the scarf?

The Piolette scarf measures 185 cm in length and 50 cm in width.

Is the Sessùn Piolette Scarf unisex?

Yes, the design and color profile are intended for anyone, making it a versatile unisex accessory.

Where is the scarf manufactured?

This scarf is proudly crafted in Italy.

Troubleshooting

A thread has become snagged or pulled.

Do not cut the thread. Gently pull the surrounding fabric to redistribute the tension and carefully work the loop back into the weave.

The wool appears slightly pilled.

Use a specialized wool sweater comb or fabric shaver to gently remove surface pilling, being careful not to catch the delicate woven loops.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Since this is an accessory, no technical setup is required. To maintain the integrity of the Piolette Scarf, avoid pulling on the looped threads as this may disturb the woven pattern.

Care Instructions:

Always check the care label inside the scarf for specific temperature guidelines.
We recommend professional dry cleaning to preserve the texture of the wool.
If washing by hand, use cool water and a mild detergent specifically formulated for wool.
Lay flat to dry on a clean towel; never wring out or hang the scarf while wet, as this will stretch the fabric.
Store folded in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and sharp objects that could snag the loops.
