FAQs

Are the pans dishwasher safe?

No, it is recommended to wash the cookware by hand to preserve the enamel coating and prevent damage.

Can I use metal utensils with this cookware?

It is recommended to use wooden or silicone utensils to avoid scratching the enamel coating.

What is the warranty on the STAUB 3-piece Cookware Set?

The warranty information can be found on the manufacturer's website or in the product documentation.

How do I season the cast iron?

The set does not need to be seasoned. It comes with an enamelled coating which makes it ready for use.

Can I use the cookware on a grill?

While the cookware is oven-safe, using it directly on a grill is not recommended due to the high and uneven heat.

What should I do if food burns onto the pan?

Let the pan cool completely, then soak it in warm, soapy water for a while. Use a non-abrasive sponge or cleaner to gently remove the burned-on food.

How do I store the cookware?

Store the cookware in a dry place. The stackable design helps to save space. Always use the rim protectors when stacking.

Troubleshooting

Food is sticking to the pan.

Ensure the pan is adequately preheated. Use a small amount of oil or fat before adding food. If the problem persists, re-season the pan.

Rust spots appear.

Dry the pan thoroughly after washing. If rust appears, scrub it off with steel wool, re-season the pan, and dry it again.

Enamel coating is chipped.

If the chipping is minor, the pan may still be usable. Avoid using the pan for high-heat cooking or in the oven if the damage is severe. Contact STAUB customer service.

Uneven heating.

Ensure the pan is making full contact with the hob. For induction cooktops, make sure the cookware is compatible. Distribute food evenly in the pan.
