Product Information

Full details

The KONG Goomz Ball in Extra Large is designed for pet owners seeking an engaging and durable toy for their dogs, particularly those with light to moderate chewing habits. Its primary benefit is promoting healthy teeth and gums through a unique nubbed texture while satisfying natural chewing instincts with a built-in squeaker for extended play. A key caveat is that this toy is not intended for aggressive chewers, who may require KONG's more robust rubber options for safety.

FAQs

What size is this ball?

This guide specifically covers the Extra Large size of the KONG Goomz Ball.

Is this toy safe for puppies?

The Goomz Ball is generally suitable for puppies with light chewing habits, but supervision is always recommended to ensure they use it appropriately and safely.

How does this toy help with dental health?

The raised nubs on the ball's surface are designed to massage a dog's teeth and gums, which can help clean teeth and reduce plaque and tartar buildup as they chew.

Can my aggressive chewer use this toy?

No, the KONG Goomz Ball is designed for light to moderate chewers. Aggressive chewers may damage the toy quickly and could pose a risk. KONG recommends their classic rubber toys for aggressive chewers.

How often should I check the toy for damage?

Can this toy be used outdoors?

Yes, the KONG Goomz Ball is suitable for both indoor and outdoor interactive play, including games of fetch.

Troubleshooting

Squeaker not working

Ensure the squeaker hole is not blocked by debris. Try pressing firmly on the designated squeaker area. If damaged, discontinue use.

Remove the toy immediately. This toy is designed for light to moderate chewers. For aggressive chewers, consider KONG's durable rubber toys and always supervise play.

Toy has minor wear and tear

If the wear is superficial and doesn't compromise the toy's integrity or safety, it can continue to be used under supervision. If significant damage occurs (e.g., large cracks, pieces missing), discard the toy.
