Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure peak performance and safety, follow these guidelines:
- Assembly: While the bike arrives mostly pre-built, verify that the handlebars are aligned, the seat is tightened at the correct height, and both the front and rear brakes are calibrated for immediate engagement.
- Maintenance: Regularly check tire pressure to ensure it matches the recommended PSI on the sidewall, and lubricate the chain every few months to prevent rust and ensure smooth shifting.
- Brake Care: Periodically check the brake pads for wear; if the stopping distance increases, adjust the cable tension using the barrel adjusters located at the brake levers.
- Storage: Always use the integrated kickstand to prevent frame damage from laying the bike on rough concrete, and store the bike in a dry, covered area to preserve the finish and mechanical components.
