Product Information

Full details

The Mikki Nylon Muzzle is a strong, soft, and flexible muzzle designed to allow dogs to pant and drink. It features adjustable straps with a quick-fit catch. This muzzle is a lightweight, comfortable, and safe alternative to traditional basket muzzles, allowing dogs to pant, drink, and participate in treat training. It comes complete with an adjustable strap and an easy-fit snap lock, as well as a collar attachment to prevent removal. A muzzle can be a crucial tool for preventing injuries when a dog exhibits predatory behavior or chases other animals. Legally, a dog that has bitten must be kept on a lead for everyone's safety. The Mikki Nylon Muzzle is suitable for breeds like Boxers (Size 8). To ensure a proper fit, place the muzzle over your dog's nose and mouth, allowing enough space to slide one finger inside along the side of the nose. This ensures the dog can pant and drink, and allows for treats to be given during training. Introduce the muzzle gradually, rewarding your dog with praise to encourage relaxation. Secure the muzzle by attaching the Velcro loop to your dog's collar. Initially, use the muzzle for short periods, gradually increasing the duration as the dog becomes comfortable. Always ensure you have the correct size muzzle for your dog and use it solely for safety and restraint, not punishment. Avoid prolonged use or use during strenuous exercise, and never leave a muzzled dog unattended.
