Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Determine the desired location for your awning rail. Using the included 18 self-tapping screws, carefully mark and drill pilot holes on the mounting surface (e.g., vehicle side, wall). Secure each of the three 100 cm C Channel strips firmly in place. Ensure the rails are aligned correctly to accept the awning's beading strip.
Compatibility: The C Channel Awning Rail is designed for use with 6mm beading strips. It is compatible with most standard awnings, canopies, and drive-away shelters intended for this type of attachment. It can be mounted on various surfaces including metal, fiberglass, and wood found on campervans, motorhomes, caravans, boats, and buildings.
Care: Clean the aluminum rails with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, which could damage the finish. Periodically check that the screws remain tight to ensure the rail stays securely mounted.
