Full details
Raspberry 'Malling Promise' is a hardy perennial, summer-fruiting variety that is easy to grow and known for its early cropping. It produces tasty, large, and firm fruits from late June to early July. The bushy, spiny canes exhibit good vigour and can tolerate poorer soils, making it an excellent choice for a variety of garden conditions. With excellent disease resistance, 'Malling Promise' thrives in full sun and is ideal for patios, kitchen gardens, and wildlife gardens. Reaching up to 150cm (59in) in height and spreading up to 50cm (20in), these raspberries have been inspected and certified pest and disease-free by the Ministry of Agriculture, ensuring high-quality plants. To cultivate Raspberry 'Malling Promise', plant in well-prepared soil enriched with compost or manure. Support the vigorous canes with a sturdy framework of wires, spaced adequately for growth. Water generously and apply mulch to retain moisture, promoting healthy growth and optimal fruiting.
