Setup, Compatibility & Care
No specialized setup is required; the tool is ready to use out of the packaging. For long-term performance, follow these care guidelines:
- Cleaning: Always wipe the blade clean immediately after use. While the coating is non-stick, dried compounds can still harden and require abrasive cleaning, which may damage the surface.
- Storage: Store in a dry environment. Despite being rust-resistant, keeping the tool moisture-free maintains the blade's edge.
- Maintenance: Avoid using the blade as a pry bar, as excessive leverage can bend the blade despite its titanium-bonded hardness. If the handle gets dirty, clean it with mild soap and water, avoiding harsh chemical solvents that could degrade the non-slip grip material.
