FAQs

Is this eyeliner waterproof?

It is formulated for a long-lasting hold that resists smudging throughout the day.

Can I use this over shimmer eyeshadow?

Yes, but it is recommended to apply over a base to ensure the tip stays clean and flows smoothly.

How do I store the pen to keep it fresh?

Store the product horizontally to keep the ink evenly distributed within the pen.

Is it safe for contact lens wearers?

The formula is designed for general use, but as with all eye cosmetics, avoid direct contact with the eyeball and consult an eye care professional if you have specific sensitivities.

Does this eyeliner contain fragrance?

The Ultimate Pen Eyeliner formula is designed for high-performance wear without heavy additives.

Troubleshooting

The liner appears faded or faint during application.

Store the pen cap-down for 30 minutes to allow the ink to flow back into the felt tip.

The tip feels dry or skips on the skin.

Gently wipe the tip on a clean tissue to remove any built-up eyeshadow or skin oils that may be clogging the nib.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Precise felt tip for sharp, clean lines
Excellent staying power for all-day wear
Highly pigmented formula for maximum impact
Dries quickly to prevent smudging

Cons

Requires oil-based remover to clean thoroughly
Not intended for use on the waterline
May dry out if the cap is not replaced firmly

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of the pen, store it horizontally or with the tip facing downward to keep the reservoir saturated. Always snap the cap shut until you hear a distinct click to prevent the tip from drying out. Compatibility-wise, this eyeliner pairs well with most eyeshadow primers and setting sprays; however, it is best applied to clean, dry skin or over powder shadow to ensure the smoothest glide. To clean, use a gentle bi-phase or oil-based makeup remover, soaking a cotton pad and holding it against the eye for 10 seconds before gently wiping away the pigment.
