Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up your air hammer, connect it to your compressed air supply using a standard 1/4-inch NPT fitting. Always apply a few drops of pneumatic tool oil into the air inlet before each use to keep the internal piston lubricated. Compatibility is broad, as the tool works with standard workshop compressors that can output a consistent 4 CFM at 90 PSI. After use, wipe down the exterior with a clean cloth and store the tool in a dry place to prevent internal corrosion. Ensure the coil spring chisel retainer is securely tightened before firing the tool to prevent the chisels from ejecting unexpectedly.
