Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Before first use, wash the frying pan with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly. This removes any manufacturing residues.
Compatibility: This frying pan is suitable for use on most hob types, including electric, gas, and ceramic. For induction hobs, check specific compatibility.
Care Instructions:
- Avoid High Heat: While durable, prolonged exposure to very high heat can degrade the non-stick coating over time. Medium to medium-high heat is generally sufficient.
- Use Non-Metallic Utensils: Spatulas and spoons made of silicone, wood, or nylon are recommended to prevent scratching the non-stick surface.
- Cleaning: Allow the pan to cool before cleaning. Wash by hand using warm, soapy water and a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the non-stick coating.
- Seasoning (Optional): For enhanced longevity, occasional re-seasoning with a small amount of cooking oil can be beneficial. Apply a thin layer of oil to the surface, heat gently for a few minutes, then wipe clean.
